  15. Trashed files - there is a bug in Finder 5.1, 5.2, and 5.3 that can cause you to lose a file you put in the trash and then retrieve.  To avoid the problem make sure that you return the retrieved file to the exact disk window or folder it came from.  The best way to do this is to open the trash, select the files, and then choose Put Away from the File menu.  (Anytime the Put Away command isn't dimmed, you can use it to return a selected file(s) to its original folder.)
